Posting Policies
Articles are ideally 300 – 500 words and video or audio content should range between 2 – 5 minutes.
All content must be original, or you must have the exclusive publishing rights. If you are found to be in violation of this policy, your content will be removed and your account suspended.
There are a range of topics to write about, however, content should be related to how small businesses can promote themselves via the internet, social media, mobile and other web resources.
Articles can include links to other websites. However, content will be monitered for excessive links and those that are determined to promote spam or malware. When an author is found to be in violation, they will be issued a warning. A second violation of this policy will result in suspension of posting privliges.
You should tag your posts for maximum visibility. At a minimum each post should be taged with the terms “small business” and “marketing.”
Adding pictures to posts is a great way to complement text or video content, you are encouraged to include images that are consistent with your content and the WebsiteKings brand.
Your first two posts must be approved by a member of our editorial staff. After these probationary posts, your content will be automatically posted to the website without moderation.
- While allowing authors creative freedom is one of the hallmarks of our site, the editorial staff reserves the right to delete, edit, or otherwise amend submitted content when it is in violation of established policies or is determined to put our web property at legal, financial, or reputational risk.
